I am so excited to announce that I’ve been working on a coaching group session and the details are finally coming together!
I’ve been working behind the scenes on writing a workbook on boundaries. I had a client recently that I coached through some boundaries and out of that session the workbook was born. A mentor of mine suggested I try a group coaching approach and I’m excited to give it a try! Below you’ll find all the details about the event and a favor I’d like to ask of you but for now I wanted to give you a little sneak peak into the teaching section of the workshop.
Sometimes we struggle with setting boundaries and keeping to them because we are looking to get from people what we should be getting from God. Sometimes we are looking to get validation or love or security from people. We give and give and give and hope that out of all that giving we feel loved and safe. It feels easier to get what we need from people first, but we should be getting our needs met from our community with God first and then our community with people.
Today I’d challenge you to think through this question:
Where do I find my value and worth? In my relationship with God or with people? In my possessions or my bank account? In my career or position of authority?
Once we can define and establish where we struggle to get our needs met from God first and people second, we will be able to start setting healthy boundaries.

So what does this actually mean? There are two opportunities to participate in this workshop on boundaries. On May 15 I’ll be hosting a live, in person workshop. We’ll be working down through the 10 page workbook answering questions like “where do boundaries come from” and “how do I have clarity about a boundary”. We’ll have times of personal, quiet reflection and times to share with a partner or the group if that’s comfortable for you. There will be take home work to do if you want to really dig in and set some healthy and God-honoring boundaries! You can find out more and register for that here.
On May 22 I’ll be hosting a virtual (zoom) workshop with the exact same content. We’ll still be working through the 10 page workbook and answering all the questions, we’ll just be doing it from home! This option is great if you aren’t local to the Albany, NY area or if you can’t make it to the in person event. This event will be recorded so if you can’t make either event live and want the content, register anyways! You’ll get the video playback. You can find out more and register for that option here.
Can I ask a favor?
I actually have two favors. First, will you pray? Will you join me in praying for the details of the workshop to continue to come together and for the attendees. I’m praying that God will bring the women He wants to guide into freedom and confidence in the area of boundaries to the workshop. I believe there is freedom waiting and I am so thrilled to be a part of the journey.
Second, will you share this with someone? Will you send this to someone you’d want to come to the workshop with or someone you’ve talked about boundaries to who might be interested? I’d be so honored to have you on my team as we launch this new workshop into the world.
