I’m doing a new thing! I recently announced on social media that I’m launching my coaching business. If you didn’t see it, you can check it out here. I am so excited to start this new chapter, although it’s scary as well. It has been a wild journey the last few months. Back in Spring 2022, I felt God stirring something in my soul. I could sense that He was going to do something new, but I had no idea what it would be, what it would look like, and how it would come about. A coaching organization that I have followed and used for a few years now was opening up their coaching program. They were taking applications and then the program was going to start in the fall. I mentioned it to Isaac and we began praying about it. We decided that as long as God kept opening doors for this opportunity we would keep moving forward. I applied, had my interview, and submitted references. A couple weeks later I got an email telling me that I was accepted. “We would love to welcome you to our coaching certification program to become a Go and Tell Gals coach!” is actually what they sent me. Isaac happened to be home when I opened the email and we both were so excited, and I cried pretty hard. It felt amazing for someone who doesn’t know me, and therefore somewhat bias, to validate my gifting and my calling.
In October I began the program. I had classes into December. As part of my program I began coaching. I reached out to some friends to offer a free coaching session in return for their time. Each time, I gained more and more confidence, this is how God has gifted me and I have felt so much purpose and fulfillment. In December Isaac came with me to Charleston, South Carolina for the coaches retreat. I was officially certified and commissioned. It has been a beautiful and brave journey to keep walking into this calling from God.
These past few weeks I have been working on getting everything ready to launch. I updated my website and added a new coaching page. Check it out here! I’ve been working through my session notes and building a business plan, setting goals and task lists. I am so excited to see what God does in this new season, and new year.
